WANT
I first learned about MUJI from Pattern Recognition. I finally made it to the mothership of minimalism on a 2004 business trip to Tokyo. I came across MUJI again tonight when I stumbled upon the MUJI at MOMA items while hunting for a business card case. Why, why isn’t MUJI in California? Then again, SF was seemingly the last place on earth to get IKEA and H&M,.
For those eager to satisfy MUJI lust, there is the EU online store. All MUJIness has been removed by the current exchange rate, however. Guess I’ll be waiting for the SF store after all. Until then, I give you Suburbia in a Bag. Please note, Suburbia is both On Sale and Currently Unavailable. Just how we like it.
